Starting local means we can build a complete, high-quality directory before expanding — so every state we add gets the same attention NC did from day one.

Why I Built Veteran Owned USA

People have asked me recently why I decided to start a directory website for veteran businesses. For me, the question seemed a bit illogical, especially given that I'm a veteran myself.
But retrospectively, I understand where their curiosity stems from. My background is truly in HR & computer science, and that's where most of my military and retirement life was spent. So BLUF in military jargon: "I'm finally doing something I wholeheartedly have a passion for." Sure, I've taken pride in helping Soldiers throughout my career and have helped thousands upon thousands. But this — with your help — will impact millions of veteran business owners like yourselves.
This venture is different. This journey is special. This mission is life-changing. This is my opportunity to help millions of veteran business owners achieve their dreams.
This is also a place for veteran resources and outreach. I want to hear from my veteran community. Please submit your stories to add to my blog. I want you to have a place to tell your truth. This is the ultimate way I can truly make an impact.
